Welcome to the
GCI 3D Print Lab
Learn to design, slice, and print with Bambu Lab A1, A1 Mini, and P1S printers. From your first model to a full capstone project — we've got you covered.
About the Lab
What is the GCI Print Farm?
A hands-on fabrication lab where students learn the complete 3D printing workflow — from finding and designing models to slicing, printing, and quality inspection.
Bambu Lab Printers
Three industry-grade printer models: the A1 for large multi-color prints, A1 Mini for quick desktop work, and P1S for high-temperature enclosed prints.
Structured Training
A five-day guided program takes students from printer basics all the way through designing and printing an original school logo keychain.
Student Operated
Students manage print jobs, maintain equipment, help peers troubleshoot, and run the lab day-to-day — real-world experience from day one.
